Dr. Mankowitz

Dr. Mankowitz attend Hood College in Maryland where she grew up; she completed her Bachelor of Science in biology. She then moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her dentistry degree. If Dr. Markowitz isn’t caring for her patients, she is spending time with friends and family. She enjoys hiking and hunting with her husband, Dr. Seller, and their dog, Hubert.

Dr. Josh Balzen, DDS

Originally from Utah, Dr. Josh Balzen earned his degree in Human Biology from Utah State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.He and his wife, who is a school teacher, enjoy spending time outdoors camping, mountain biking, and motorcycle riding.Dr. Balzen is dedicated to providing comfortable, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages and is proud to serve the community of Farmington with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to oral health.

Dr. Nicholas Jensen

Dr. Nicholas Jensen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has also lived in Washington, California, and Colorado, where his father served in the Air Force. After graduating high school in Colorado Springs, he served a two-year mission for his church in Venezuela, Texas, and New Mexico before completing his degree in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.Dr. Jensen joined Sundance Dental Care of Rio Rancho in 2013 and is grateful to call New Mexico home. He and his wife, Dana, love raising their six children here and enjoy the community and beautiful outdoors. Outside the office, he enjoys camping, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his family.He is dedicated to his profession and committed to providing his patients with quality, comprehensive care in a warm and caring atmosphere. He enjoys the challenge that dentistry presents and loves the opportunity to help people improve their lives.

Dr. Swagerty

Dr. Swagerty attended Loma Linda University Dental School. After graduating, he served our country in the US Army for 21 years as a Dentist. While in the Army, he was deployed to Afghanistan twice, Germany, Texas, New Mexico, and Alaska—during this time, he attended a 2 year Advanced Education General Dentistry residency to further advance his skills. After retiring, Dr. Swagerty moved back to New Mexico to be closer to his family and eventually found his way to us at Sundance!

Graduated from Oregon Health Sciences in Portland Oregon. Practiced in Bend Oregon while he and his wife Cindy raised their 2 children Tim and Kimberley. Moved to Eugene Oregonwhere he where he and his wife enjoyed many Oregon Ducks sports. After keeping his wife Cindy in Oregon for almost 40 years they decided to move back to Cindys home in New Mexico where she is a member of the Acoma tribe. Kirt and Cindy are active, outdoor people who enjoy farming, snow skiing and camping. Dr Kirchmeier is excited to be here helping the local people with their dental needs.

Dr. Madsen completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Utah Valley University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized dental treatment in a welcoming environment. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys running, biking, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his wife and daughter.
